Disclaimers

I hate lawyers (no offense if you're a lawyer, I'm sure you're the nice one) and I'd rather not be contacted by any with complaints about this blog, so you get some disclaimers. Aren't you lucky, zero people who will ever read this?

All opinions on this blog are my own. In particular they are not official positions of Google, my "real" employer, or of Uber or any of its subsidiaries.

My experiences may not be typical - if you become an Uber driver and have a negative experience I didn't warn you about, I accept zero liability! Uber at your own risk.

Information about riders is sanitized to a point where I don't believe they are identifiable to strangers. That doesn't mean it's impossible that you, dear reader, are one of my riders and can identify yourself. If you have concerns that I have not sufficiently anonymized you, please get in touch with your concerns and I will be happy to discuss them - no lawyers needed!
